Worked with the 4 x 600 MW Thermal Power Plant (TPP) team in Vedanta Aluminium Limited at their Jharsuguda, Odisha, India centre.
Attempted to improve the overall reliability through a reduction in the numbers of
forced outages across TPP.
In the plant process, the failures were considered in
- Economiser Tubes, Water Walls, Turbines, Condenser, Superheaters, Fans and Mills.
Suggested two different techniques to reduce the number of forced outages, thereby maximizing the life of the power plant without compromising on safety.
